Max Dugan, BA

Picture
Max is a clinical intern pursuing his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University. He received his Bachelor’s degree in History at Christendom College, where he also received a well-rounded education in the Humanities and the Human Person. Before his career as a mental health professional, Max helped disaster survivors and helped form students as a teacher of theology, history, philosophy, and literature, using many of the same books that helped him to convert to the Catholic faith. It is this background as a convert through witnessing the goodness, truth, and beauty and seeing it change the lives of others that informs Max’s counseling, which is focused on finding meaning and purpose even where it may be obscured and helping the client to flourish in mind, body, and soul. Max is interested in working with a wide variety of clients, but has a particular calling to help those who feel a distinct lack of meaning and purpose and desire to find it. Max is a practicing Catholic and enjoys learning about other cultures and history, practicing calisthenics, Sci-Fi and Fantasy, and spending time with his large family in his free time.
